About

In a world that seems to be rushing forth and dragging us in its wake, my wonderful kids and grandkids have shown me the importance of slowing down. My experience in the corporate world, my doctoral studies in psychology and my yoga teacher training have provided me with the tools I need to navigate this warp-speed world, and to help others do the same. I love sharing fundamentals of neuroscience and mental health, and am constantly awed to see that with mind and body working together, we are able to slow down, breathe, and return to our tasks with renewed energy and improved teamwork.

believe that you are the expert on you. I'm here to help you bring out your authentic self.  To help you say, before asking others for advice, "what is it that I want?" We do the work on a mental and emotional levels, and often also bring in somatic and spiritual healing.  We sort through your value system and your experiences. It's a wild journey, and so worth it!

Group therapy is an experience like no other. Diverse people with entirely different life experiences join together for an hour or two a week and unite in their humanity.  It's equalizing, normalizing and just so special. There is laughter, there may be tears, and there is definitely growth. The change is sometimes even more significant in group than in individual work because of all the unified voices in the room.

Sometimes romantic partners get stuck in their own perspective. Some never had the opportunity, or practice, in seeing the others' perspective.  And sometimes change happens, bringing on a whole new conversation that is just too difficult to handle without help.

Trained in Terry Real's RLT model, I teach couples to be relational, and help each person, and the couple together, understand and share their needs in a healthy and positive way.
